If we look at the BEG 2019 numbers for last quarter(1,4mil) and increase them with let's say 20%, we can predict total number of 7,6-7,7 mil passengers in 2023, which is absolutely fantastic result. It can even go higher to 7,8mil , because I took lower percentage increase, average is 26% for this year.

BEG would need to frow by 46% to 2019 to ahieve 8 million mark. It seems that such growth is not realistic, so 8 million mark will wait for 2024

That is, we will be able to see 8 million in 2024, and if we add Nish -9?

  8. Anonymous20:41

Realistically, how many passengers will you see during 2024 in Belgrade? Any guesses and calculations?

      Close to 9 million

    2. Anonymous02:05

If it reaches 7.5 million and you apply 20% (which seems very realistic given growth this year) it will be exactly on 9m, however I can see it growing beyond

My expectations for 2024 are that a new Wizz Air aircraft is coming as well as a small expansion of JU, possibly AirPink as well. Who else can we expect?

      Wizz Air fifth aircraft.
JU another ~15 routes and major frequency increases.
FZ increase to 18pw - EK is expected in 2025 with A350.

      What lines would Airpink operate?
      IMO good will be:
      Mostar
      Brač
      Portoroz
      Tuzla
      Greek routes.
      Trieste
      Cluj Napoca
      Timisoara
      Belgrade- Nos, Kraljevo

Ju won't launch that many new routes but existing ones will be boosted. That will generate a lot of extra traffic, we will see in November when many increases start.

    7. Anonymous22:08

JU will definitely launch around 10-15 new routes, however, many existing routes will get significant increases in the summer.

    8. Anonymous22:43

I think they will launch next year not more than 5 routes.

If we take into consideration that Air Serbia carried 456.790 passengers during September (of course, not all of them were flying from Belgrade), its more then half of Belgrade passengers :)

They will virtually have a monopoly, I guess that was the goal of the government from day 1. Hopefully Wizz Air fights them for our sake.

So in your world a 50% share is a monopoly. Ok, whatever.

    3. Anonymous07:16

It's over 60% at this point

    4. Anonymous08:09

No, it isn't as JU flies also to KVO and INI.

50-55% is normal to have for strong air carrier in its home airport. Have a look on LH in FRA.
