Turkish Airlines will add an extra four weekly flights between Istanbul and Zagreb next summer season for a total of eighteen weekly rotations. Starting April 1, 2024 a new afternoon service will be introduced, operating on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays. Turkish Airlines is expected to benifit from the continued recovery of the Asian travel market next year from which it sees a significant number of transfer passengers on the Zagreb route. Turkish Airlines handled a record 151.493 passengers on its Zagreb flights during the first three quarters of the year.
Nice! This will greatly improve connection times. I have avoided Turkish from Zagreb before because the connection times were too long.

DeleteThis means on average they had over 15k monthly passengers on this route.
ReplyDeleteIf that's continued over the last 3 months of this year they'll get close to 200k passengers between Istanbul and Zagreb in 2023. and will surpass that next year.
