NEWS FLASH
South Korean low cost carrier T’Way Air is set to begin sales for its new three weekly service between Seoul and Zagreb via Bishkek next week. According to Korean tour operators, sales are set to commence on Monday January 29, although changes remain possible. As previously reported, the airline will run flights from June 18 with its Airbus A330-300 aircraft. Zagreb will become T’Way Air’s first destination in Europe.
Very interested in the fares. Korean was quite expensive on this route.
ReplyDeleteNot really. I remember you could get economy for 1200€.
DeleteBravo Hrvatska!
ReplyDeleteIntroductory promotional fares (April last year) Seoul - Bishkek, one way, were 393.800 won (270 euro). To Zagreb will be probably more.
ReplyDeleteI think ticket return should be 350 Euros. With hand luggae. Anything more then this is not low cost
ReplyDelete350 euros for a 11 hour flight? Are you out of your mind?
DeleteOh my days, some people have no clue. €850 to €1000 as an introductory price is more realistic.
DeleteI'm the anon 11.32, 865 euro ( plus/minus 5%) round trip would be the expected price.
DeleteWhat are you talking about? There are round-trip flights from Athens to Singapore for 525 euros with Scoot. It is more then possible for a one way ticket to be 250 euros, 800€ for low cost is not low cost.
DeleteI belive that prices will be similar to ICN-SYD route because its almost similar route length
ReplyDeleteThere is more competition on this route: T'way is competing with another LC namely Jetstat.
Deleterlines in the same route: Korean Air, Asian and Qantas.
I would be extremely surprised if the introductory price, one way would be less than 499000 won (around 340 euro), one way.
Jetstar
DeleteSince we are all guessing, ill guess 400-500e round trip, no extras.
Deletecurrent fares between ICN -SYD (from SYD) are on the 800 AUD / 485 RT range if you book in advance. As we have higher taxes from OZ that makes it that price but easily 300 Euros.
Deleteit is around 800 AUD mark / 430 Euros ...That is from SYD and we have higher departure taxes. ill be will be cheaper if bought from the EU ... I would rather go via ATH on Scoot ...shorter time!
