Israel's Sun d’Or delays EX-YU flights

NEWS FLASH

Sun d’Or, the leisure brand of El Al Israel Airlines, has delayed the launch of its new Belgrade service, as well as the resumption of its seasonal flights to Zagreb and Ljubljana. The carrier now plans to inaugurate its three weekly operation between Tel Aviv and the Serbian capital on July 1 instead of the initially planned April 1. Its two weekly service to Zagreb will also resume on July 1 instead of May 7, while its weekly operation to Ljubljana will commence on July 2 instead of June 4. Sun d’Or’s only destination within the former Yugoslavia which will launch as initially planned is Tivat which will start on April 4. With exception to Tivat, tickets are no longer available for purchase for any of the abovementioned destinations through El Al’s website, however, flights remain in the system with availability zeroed out since being moved to their new launch dates late last week.

What is very interesting and somewhat strange is that these days EL AL operated several charter flights to Belgrade.
