NEWS FLASH
Late last year, Aegean Airlines revealed it would upgrade its seasonal Athens - Ljubljana service to year-round operations with flights to be maintained throughout the winter. The Greek carrier has now modified its schedule for the 2024/25 winter season, which begins on October 27. Although Ljubljana flights will be maintained over the winter months, the route will be paused from mid-November until late December. The carrier plans to run two weekly rotations between the two capitals until November 15, on Mondays and Fridays, after which the service will be suspended until December 23. Two weekly flights will then be reinstated for the rest of the season, with exception to Monday January 6 when no flights have been scheduled. The Greek carrier will use a mix of A320 and A320neo aircraft on the route during the winter season.
Gonna result in a loss of around 4000 capacity. Not ideal, not the worst either
