Croatia Airlines plans to add its first Airbus A220-300 aircraft into service this summer, with delivery of the new jet expected next month. Following the completion of bureaucratic procedures, the aircraft’s first route will be between Zagreb and Frankfurt, as previously confirmed by the airline. The second route to be operated by the new jet will be between Split and Frankfurt, according to the carrier's CEO, Jasmin Bajić. The A220 will initially be used on the rotation Zagreb - Frankfurt - Split - Frankfurt - Zagreb. These will be flights OU416/OU413/OU412/OU411.The jet will be progressively deployed onto other European routes out of the Croatian capital. The A220 is yet to be officially scheduled on Croatia Airlines’ flights.
