Sun d’Or to commence Podgorica service

NEWS FLASH

El Al’s leisure subsidiary Sun d’Or plans to continue operating flights between Tel Aviv and Montenegro over the coming 2024/25 winter. The carrier will switch its existing Tivat flights to Podgorica over the winter season, which begins on October 27 and runs until March 30 of next year. Starting October 31, the seasonal winter operations will be maintained twice per week, on Thursdays and Sundays, with the service to switch back to Tivat over the 2025 summer. Further flight details can be found here. Tickets are now available for purchase through the airline’s website, travel agents and tour operators. As previously reported, Sun d’Or will also operate a three weekly service to Belgrade this winter, an increase on its existing two weekly rotations launched earlier this month.

That's pretty good, both Montenegro and Israel are worth visiting during winter holidays. Wish we'd see the same sort of extension in Ljubljana and Zagreb as well

Do you think Fraport can say no to the airlines that wish to fly? If there would be business case they would certainly do it.

Although I like Slovenia, it is very boring and yes the new law regarding (not) working on Sunday made it even more empty on the weekends.

No, but Fraport can jack the prices up unreasonably on a small regional airports to dissuade airlines from operating flights
