Could have written Expo 2027 on the fuselage and leave the tail alone.
ReplyDeleteCouldn't agree more!
DeleteLooks amazing . Love it. Great job JU.
DeleteSome people talking that these are only stickers printed in Slovenia. That means that plane is plain white below?
DeleteIt makes sense for temporary livery to be made of stickers. Don't know about huge Air Serbia at the front, it could be painted...
DeleteAgree on the tail as well. Or at last make Belgrade and Serbia bolder, unless that is the official expo logo. We will all have our options on these kind of things, but nonetheless it must exciting for the AS to have another wide body jet in their company.
DeleteLooks nice, kind of modern art and probably needs more time for look to grow on you.
DeleteThe JU logo needs to be redesigned. It looks like a flag of Haiti now. They should omit the two colour tone (red and blue background on the tail) and just use the single color background with stylized eagle in white tone stretched all over the tail.
DeleteIn my opinion they should have left the engines in the usual blue red livery.

DeleteYes and one part of the livery in ћирилица

DeleteUnfortunately there is no room for Cyrillic at JU.
All the staff call it Ер Србија even if they know English.
DeleteHonestly, I think that's what everyone calls it in Serbia.
DeleteAnd what is wrong calling it that way since they used a non Serbian title? I guess that is the closes you can get to the english version.
DeleteNo one said it's wrong
DeleteWHY DID THEY REMOVE THE ZORO MASK?
ReplyDeleteThis is very strange - on some photos you can see it, on some not. What is the final state? I also prefer it with the black mask.
DeleteAir Serbia should have kept the zorro mask on the aircraft, it had that modern look to it and would just look way better than it does now. The front of the aircraft just looks bland, I'm sure the zorro mask would have made that look a little less bland. I'm really hoping that for the 4th A330 they keep the zorro mask on.
DeleteIt looked sooo much better with...
DeleteReally bad for pilot eyes with glare. Black nose really helps.
DeleteMožda je oatala, samo nisu skinuli krep traku sa maske posle farbanja.
DeleteThey should have kept the mask, just makes the livery look more complete and modern, they made a mistake by removing it, it just looks so bland, with the mask it just made it look a little less bland
DeleteAre you sure they removed it?
Delete@18:53 yes, look at the photos, unfortunately the mask is removed
DeleteI wish we could see an A330with the proper ASL livery again. Like the YU-ARA had.

DeleteYeah, sick of these 'special liveries'.
DeleteWhy don't they paint one A320 or Atr in those?
Amin! I honestly miss an A330 in just its "boring" normal JU livery... though a retro JAT one wouldn't be too bad either :-)))
DeleteLooked significantly better in the render, this isn't even the same pattern
ReplyDeleteThey paint winglets, but the engines not... The tail is too much white, somehow it looks unfinished.
ReplyDeleteIt's not the best livery out there, but at least the state is covering all the costs.
You want it to loo super trash and paint all over ? You definitely have no clue about the design and paint job .
DeleteIt's... What's the right word... Sour, right?
DeleteNormally I will never criticise anything from the ex yu but who f****d this one up!? The render isn’t even the same, which mind you is way better!
ReplyDeleteThis is disappointing..
Well the render did have CF6-80E1 engines, that should tell you how much technical input the designer received on the feasibility of their creation. Shame there is no Air Serbia Eagle anywhere to be seen given it is integral to the brand.
DeleteThe last pic with Zoro mask still on is actually a great livery. Without the zoro mask it looks unfinish and unappetizingly bland
ReplyDeleteAre they keeping or unmasking zorro? I know Air Belgium had it, so I assume the pictures without is Air Serbia's request to remove it?
DeleteHonestly they should add back the zorro mask, I agree that the livery looks complete with the zorro mask, and without it just looks unfinished. Hopefully before they deliver the plane they decide to put the zorro mask back on.
DeleteProbably they will. In the article is said that maintenance is not finished until next week
Delete@14:19 let's hope that they will add it back on, unless taking off the mask was part of maintenance. But let's keep our hopes high and for the mask to be added back on.
DeleteDoubtful. This is hard work to remove and to reapply again. It isn’t going in the paint shop again.
DeleteThat's very unfortunate news, the livery looked so good with the mask, it just looked...complete. Now I wouldn't say the same, quite the opposite now, it seems unfinished.
DeleteWell how unfinished would everything look if one aircraft had the zorro mask and the two others didn’t?
DeleteCould be better, could be worse. It's not bad but it also doesn't stand out nor does it attract attention.
ReplyDeleteIt's bland and quite forgettable. Then again, Air Serbia was never strong when it came to branding or raising their brand awareness.
Serbia must be the best place on earth when such a bizarre issue becomes an important topic for so many people!
ReplyDeleteWell what do you expect that people should comment on aviation blog, global warming and third world war?
DeleteWhen will there be an A330 with a normal tail?
ReplyDeleteThe front part is way too blunt and white in contrast to a very busy tail section where one gets lost in the design pattern. Could have been better!
ReplyDeleteIs it just me or does the mask make the plane look modern, and without it it looks like the plane is 30-40 years old?

DeleteLets pray that, when this stickers are removed in 2027, the plane receives some 100th year special livery. Maybe old Jat livery
ReplyDeleteI would love to see the A330 painted in DC-10 original color scheme of YU-AMA and YU-AMB from 1978. McDonnell Douglas in Long Beach did a great job of properly implementing the JAT color scheme.
DeleteVery good idea.
DeleteHowever i would leave all the special liveryd thing to the narrow body fleet.
So next week we can expect that 5th and 6th widebodies leasing contracts are signed and planes are due next year? So we can expect new long haul expansion next summer? MIA, LAX, YYZ, INC, NRT? A lot of Ejets are also needed to feed this new routes
ReplyDeleteWhat are you talking about? Who said they are singing 5th and 6th widebodies?
DeleteLittle bird told me that contract is almost about to be signed. What other exclusive news might be?
DeleteStop making things up.
DeleteWhy are you so nervous? Patience, wait until next week
DeleteWhat are the engines on this plane?
ReplyDeleteRR Trent engines, the same as on two A330s already in the fleet.
DeleteIt's looking unfinished...
ReplyDeleteDe gustibus non est disputandum
DeleteWe can hope that at least one widebody will remain in the standard livery. We can hope.
ReplyDeleteIn all honesty, Air Serbia has my full support.
ReplyDeleteAwful livery. It even beat 'Serbia Creates,' although it was difficult!
