Israel’s Arkia Airlines has upgraded its seasonal flights between Tel Aviv and Belgrade to year-round operations. The carrier plans to maintain four weekly flights between the two cities, on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, for the duration of the 2024/25 winter season, which begins on October 27 and runs until the end of March next year. Arkia will deploy its 122-seat Embraer E195 aircraft on the route over the winter. It will compete directly against Sun d’Or Airlines’ three weekly flights between the two cities over the winter period, which will run on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

Delete@Vlad As the matter of fact, Moscow is occasionally under drone attacks.
DeleteMoscow airports close due to drone danger many times more often than Tel Aviv due to rocket danger. Actually TLV only closed two times this year for periods like 4-5 hours.

ReplyDeleteIsrael is a great vacation destination but not at this time. Besides, it's still very much summer here in Serbia and the Balkans. And it will be for some time.
ReplyDeleteMakes me wonder why JU didn't use this opportunity to sign a code-share agreement with Arkia. They could offer a lot of one stop flights beyond BEG.
