NEWS FLASH

Croatia Airlines’ second Airbus A220-300 aircraft is now in production in Airbus’ plant in Montreal. According to the carrier’s CEO, Jasmin Bajić, the jet, which will be named Split, will be delivered to the airline either in late November or early December. “The third aircraft, which has already received its serial number, is due in March 2025 and by December next year a further five more aircraft will arrive, meaning that by the end of 2025 Croatia Airlines will have a total of eight new airplanes. Four more will be added in 2026 and three more in 2027”, Mr Bajić said. As previously reported, the first revenue service for Croatia Airlines’ first A220-300 jet will be on August 6, between Zagreb and Split. Today, the aircraft is operating a certification flight between Zagreb and Dubrovnik.
