flyEgypt to run regular Ljubljana charters

NEWS FLASH


Egyptian carrier flyEgypt plans to commence a regular charter service between Sharl el Sheikh and Ljubljana, which will be maintained once per week from Tuesday October 1 throughout the 2024/25 winter season. Flight FT3119 will depart the Red Sea resort town at 05:00, arriving in Ljubljana at 08:00. The return service, operating as FT3120, will take off from the Slovenian capital at 09:00, touching back down in Egypt at 14:00. Tickets are available through tour operators as part of tour packages. The airline will deploy its 186-seat Boeing 737-800 aircraft between the two cities. Changes remain possible.

      As long as they are not real competition to Lufthansa group airlines, sorry quarterly profits for its shareholders in LH group. Slovenia has sold its vital infrastructure (airports) to LH group shareholders, capitalism at it best. Sorry capital colonialism painted with democracy!

    Admin, do regular charter flights count as scheduled capacity or chartered capacity? Considering they are scheduled but not sold to the public

    1. It depends. The ones that get displayed in booking systems, like this one, even though seats are zeroed out for free sale are included. These have been accounted for in recent articles about capacity levels at Ljubljana Airport as they were scheduled around ten days ago.

    1. The last flight is planned for October 30 operating nonstop. The flight before that, on October 23, operates Monastir - Belgrade - Ljubljana - Monastir.
