Air Serbia schedules limited wide-body Rome flights

NEWS FLASH

Air Serbia will operate a limited number of flights between Belgrade and Rome early next year with its wide-body Airbus A330-200 aircraft. As initially reported by “Aeroroutes” the twin-aisle jet will be deployed each Thursday morning between the two capitals from January 16 to February 6, for a total of four return flights. Currently, the airline has scheduled the 257-seat A330-200 registered YU-ARB (Nikola Tesla) on January 16 and January 23, as well as the 262-seat A330-200 registered YU-ARD/ARE (Expo 2027) on January 30 and February 6, although it is highly likely the exact A330 aircraft may be changed closer to the day of departure.

Well now that they don’t have TSN, why not? They should also fly them to LHR and ZRH.

      Probably crew training.
They still have CAN, JFK, ORD, PVG.
Once weekly to TSN really did not make big change.

They do not have widebody slots at LHR.

Cancelling TSN frees up 3 days worth of A330 flying because of the long layover they had.

They would only have chance in DXB with A332 because their A319/320 cannot compete with flyDubai.

But there is no demand with A332 for DXB because JU does not have connections there.

DXB is a destination in its own right. Nothing to stop interlining with EK or others in DXB, they used to do that with the JU 737-300 service via LCA and BEY. However, that was before FlyDubai started flying to BEG.

BCN frequency went down this winter...

Of course BCN went down when they insult tourists and spray them with water guns. Nobody wants a holiday like that. Oversaturated, overpriced and hostile.
