Ljubljana Airport maintains double digit growth

NEWS FLASH


Ljubljana Jože Pučnik Airport welcomed 155.801 passengers in September, representing an increase of 11% on the same month in 2023. During the first three quarters of the year, Ljubljana handled 1.135.301 travellers, up 16.8%, although the figure is still down 21.7% on the pre-pandemic 2019. Growth is expected to continue into October with scheduled capacity increasing 10% year-on-year.

    Based on the comments here one would think that Ljubljana is doing extremely poorly while BEG is thriving. Meanwhile, LJU is getting double digit growth compared to low single digits for BEG

      BEG is at +40% of 2019 traffic. Ljubljana is at -21%

      Ljubljana is set to reach 1.5 million passengers this year. Next year, 1.75 million quite possible. 2.0 million in 2026. Fingers crossed...
