Air Montenegro will make minor changes to its schedule during the 2024/25 winter season, which begins on October 27 and ends on March 29, 2025. The novelty in the carrier’s winter network will be the addition of Frankfurt, which, following a short hiatus from late October until December 14, returns to the schedule with a two weekly rotation. The remainder of the carrier’s network will remain unchanged. In total, the Montenegrin airline will operate 1.320 flights this coming winter season, offering some 153.120 seats on sale. Although it currently has its 116-seat Embraer E195 scheduled on all services, it plans to utilise a wet-leased Trade Air A320 for a short period while one of its jets undergoes maintenance.
Air Montenegro faces direct competition on some of its routes this winter. From Podgorica, it will go against Air Serbia’s 21 weekly flights to Belgrade, as well as Turkish Airlines’ 21 weekly rotations to Istanbul. Similarly, from Tivat, it will compete against Air Serbia’s fourteen weekly flights to Belgrade. Unlike the previous winter, when Turkish Airlines maintained up to ten weekly flights between Istanbul and Tivat, the Turkish carrier will not be serving the coastal city this coming season, offering connections instead through Belgrade with its codeshare partner Air Serba.
Commenting on the carrier’s operations, the company’s Head of Marketing and Customer Experience, Mina MukoviΔ RadonjiΔ, said, “Air Montenegro demonstrates its commitment to strengthening connections with the most important markets and enhancing Montenegro's position as a significant tourist destination. As a young and market-oriented company, Air Montenegro keeps up with the modern needs of its passengers, as well as trends in new technologies and digital marketing. The company's top priority is providing a high level of service to every passenger, developing relationships with new clients, and maintaining and improving relationships with existing ones. Passenger safety and security are the company's absolute priorities, and it operates in accordance with global standards. Air Montenegro strives to position itself as a leader not only in the local market but also in the regional and European markets”.

Departing Podgorica
Departing Tivat
A bit underwhelming
ReplyDelete2 flights is 5% growth for Air Montenegro.
DeleteHow about connecting TIV & TGD with more points in Europe? This is a shameful network. Wizz Air flies to more destinations from Podgorica than Air Montenegro.
DeleteWith two aircraft in the fleet? Not possible.
DeleteWhy don't they get more aircraft? It's not that difficult
DeleteLook at Air montenegro revenue. It is 4 milion euro per year. What airplane can you buy with that ammount of money ???
Delete" Air Montenegro strives to position itself as a leader not only in the local market but also in the regional and European markets"
ReplyDeleteok...
:-)
DeleteIn same statement she stated Comany is young, yet she didnt specify in terms of employees years or company itself.
DeleteAd Momtenevro airlimes was established in 1994, 30 years cannot be called young company..
Montenegro Airlines ceased to exist some years ago.
DeleteYes, Air Montenegro is not the successor to Montenegro Airlines. They are two different companies. It was done to avoid taking on Montenegro Airlines debt.
DeleteThe funny thing is they are not even a leader in their domestic market. Foreign carriers rule Montenegrin market.
DeleteDepressing.
ReplyDeleteIndeed
DeleteSmall country, small carrier. Nothing wrong with that
DeleteIcelandair has entered the chat.
Delete@Anonymous10:44
DeleteHahahahaha good one! Made me laugh
Wish them the best of luck. We need ex-Yu flag carriers.
Delete^ Considering what happened in Slovenia when JP went bust, I agree.
DeleteYM used to have a much bigger winter network
ReplyDeleteAnd much bigger losses too.
DeleteGood to see FRA extended into winter
ReplyDeleteLet's see how it works out in the end now that everyone is cutting flights to Germany due to major tax hikes.
Deletewow at TK cancelling Tivat. So we can say Air Montenegro beat them on the route.
ReplyDeleteMore like TK has fleet shortage due to engine problems.
DeleteAnd still no codeshares or connecting flights. This is hurting them big time.
ReplyDelete'Just' 3.5 years after they launched flights...
DeleteWill they be operating any charters?
ReplyDeleteIST seems to becoming an important market for them.
ReplyDeleteMeanwhile they surrendered BEG to JU.
DeleteBravo Air Serbia π·πΈπ·πΈπ·πΈ
DeleteWell they had no choice but to give up. YM was only strong because Jat Airways made room for them because of politics. Air Serbia is a different story and they are very hostile towards Ai Montenegro and with good reasons.
DeleteJust look how dominant JU is in summer on BEG-TIV. People love to fly on JU because they are reliable and offer a decent service. No one heard of Air Montenegro.
+1
DeleteMontenegro keeps winning!
ReplyDeleteπππ
Deleteπ€£π€£π€£π€£
DeleteIm surprised they are not trying harder in Belgrade. The network is really nonexistent. How many employees do they have? I hope no more than 100 with this schedule
ReplyDeleteI wrote above that they can't because Air Serbia is too strong. Long are gone the days when JU flew old planes who were falling apart on the inside. Now they operate brand new planes with a great interior so people feel comfortable onboard.
DeleteNow if Air Montenegro launches BEG-CAN/PVG then they might have the upper hand with their cabin. For now they are fighting a losing battle
This airline wound go bankrupt within 2 months if for any reason they had to stop their flights to Belgrade. Might as well call themselves Air MonteBelgrade.
ReplyDeleteAnd what reason might that be? Pitty there's no airport in Novi Sad, they could fly there in summer.
DeleteBecause BEG is their most profitable route.
DeleteSo they still don’t have an IATA code?
ReplyDeleteThat do 4O
Delete*they
DeleteStill no partnership, still no connecting flights, nada
ReplyDeleteThat's a big handicap for them in my opinion
DeleteWhat destinations could they add n the future that could be profitable?
ReplyDeleteRussian ones
DeleteWell that's not an option at the moment.
DeleteSad. Earlier I flew with them on the route Skopje-Podrgorica-CDG Paris
ReplyDeleteThe issue with Air Montenegro is that it hasn't really developed much in the last two years. It's just more of the same every year.
ReplyDeleteI can't believe Zurich can't work more than 2 weekly from Podgorica in the winter.
ReplyDeleteLook at the prices. People from Switzerland travel also BSL-TIA or FFM-TGD with LCC.
DeleteIs there no demand between Podgorica and Sarajevo?
ReplyDelete180km long route between two small cities that have relatively poor economies....not sure really if that would work.
