Pegasus Airlines boosts Tuzla service

NEWS FLASH

Low cost carrier Pegasus Airlines will introduce a second weekly service between Istanbul’s Sabiha Gocken Airport and Tuzla. Starting December 18, flights will be maintained on Wednesdays and Saturdays. The carrier introduced operations between the two cities this August. It competes directly against AJet’s weekly rotation on the route.

Is it hard to drive to Sarajevo, Belgrade or Zagreb for a flight? I drive 1.5 to 2.5 hours to jfk and newark (traffic included for a direct flight quite often). Philadelphia is also about 1 hour away, but they have less options internationally. It seems illogical for bih to have this many airports. Better use of resources would be to build better road infrastructure in my opinion

Yes but that would require politicians to have a spine

1km of highway = year or two of subsidies. Roads are not cheap, especially in such a terrain in Bosnia.

roads are not cheap in Bosnia due to high level of corruption and use of trucks when we have railways
