Lufthansa to boost Pula operations

NEWS FLASH

Lufthansa will increase its frequencies to Pula during the upcoming 2025 summer season. The German carrier will maintain four weekly flights from both Frankfurt and Munich to the seaside city for the entire duration of summer, up from two and one weekly respectively in 2024. As a result, the airline will operate an additional five weekly rotations to Pula. Furthermore, Lufthansa will bring forward the resumption of its Frankfurt - Pula service to April 25, 2025, while in 2024 flights started on June 3. On the other hand, services between Munch and Pula will resume around a month later than in 2024, on May 10. A mixture of CRJ900s, Embraer E190s and E195s will be used on the two routes. In 2024, the airline operated a total of 67 flights from Germany to Pula while in 2025 as total of 193 flights have been scheduled. Changes remain possible.

wow big increase. Especially since this year before peak season they had just 1 or 2 weekly flights while in 2025 they start with peak frequencies straight away.

5 extra weekly flights, even on such a small jet, is absolutely huge for Pulj, plus it eases transfers from abroad

Lufthansa in general has been on fire these past 2 years in the region

It has by far the best positioned hubs to serve this region for west bound traffic (which is most of it) + the hubs already have pretty good O&D demand to/from the region.

Let's just hope they don't cancel these increases like they did this year
