Norwegian schedules new Sarajevo and Split service

NEWS FLASH

Low cost carrier Norwegian has scheduled new flights to both Sarajevo and Split for the 2025 summer season.

The carrier will commence operations between Copenhagen and Sarajevo, which was revealed last month when the outcome of the latest subsidy tender aimed at improving the city’s air connectivity was published. Norwegian will operate the new route twice per week, on Tuesdays and Saturdays, starting May 3 with the Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft. It will compete against SAS Scandinavian Airlines. Further flight details can be found here.

Norwegian will also launch a new seasonal service between Riga and Split. Operations will launch on May 3 and run once per week, on Saturdays, with the B737-800. The operating day will switch to Thursdays from June 16. Norwegian will compete against airBaltic on the route. The service will be maintained until August 14.
