Ryanair schedules new Croatia routes

NEWS FLASH

Low cost carrier Ryanair has scheduled and put on sale flights for additional new routes from Croatia. As previously exclusively reported by EX-YU Aviation News, the airline has followed through with plans to launch new services from Dubrovnik to both Marseille and Katowice. Furthermore, the carrier has also scheduled a new service between Zadar and Bratislava, with the Slovak capital to become the 54th destination to be served by the low cost airline from the Croatian city. Ryanair is also shortly expected to schedule a new service between Hahn and Rijeka.

RJK needs real PSO which will connect it with OSI and SPU-DBV two times daily, morning and evening. Current PSO is ridicolous and useless.
RJK needs legacy carrier which will connect it with minimum one big european hub, minimum twice per day. Current OU MUC service is ridicolous and useless as well.
And yes, RJK needs more FR connections and more LCC flights. Current three months peak summer season services are insufficient.
But as long as RJK has totally incompetent management, tourist organisation which couldn't care less and obstructions by the "state"/government for not being their political option, nothing will change

couldn't somehow pressure be put on Croatia Airlines to fly RJK to London on one of those days it flies RJK to MUC ..all year..
SO many airlines have dropped RJK.. easyjet, BaltIc, LOT, condor, Arkia, TUI/Norwegian...a Swiss airline...?
re the PSO..I use it fairly often Rjk to DBV and PUY to SPU....mainly locals out of season and May- Sept at least 50 p cent tourists on it..including American pax.
I fear that airport will close if they don't attract more flights..

Meanwhile OU doesn't know where to deploy their A220s... Pretty much just anywhere. Just send them...

Awesome news. We could learn a lot from Croatia on how to sustainably develop airports across the country.

Sustainably with a lot of subsidies and enormous seasonality.
