NEWS FLASH
Ryanair has this week scheduled and put on sale flights between Hahn and Rijeka. The new service was exclusively reported by EX-YU Aviation News back in November 2024, although flights will commence on June 1, rather than May 4 as initially planned. The reported schedule remains unchanged with two weekly flights on Wednesdays and Sundays. It marks an important addition for Rijeka Airport, after easyJet decided to discontinue its operations to the coastal city this summer. As previously reported, the new route will be accompanied by the launch of Wroclaw - Rijeka flights by Ryanair a day later. As a result, the budget carrier will boast six seasonal routes to the Croatian city this year.
At least some good news for Rijeka this summer.
ReplyDeleteThe airport needs an owner and management change. Its decline has been absolutely insane
DeleteBravo Hrvatska!
ReplyDeleteRijeka lost Frankfurt and Dusseldorf with Condor, Berlin and Gatwick with Easyjet, Warsaw, Sczeczin and Zielona Gora with LOT, Tel Aviv with Arkia, Marseilles with Volotea, Heathrow and Barcelona with Croatia, Orly and Gothenburg with Enterair Oslo with Norwegian and Hannover with Eurowings. They have average of 3-4 flights per day in peak season. Absolutely nothing to Bravo!
