NEWS FLASH
Wizz Air will introduce a new service to Tuzla this coming summer season. The low cost carrier will add flights from Vienna starting June 15, operating four times per week, on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays, with the 239-seat A321neo aircraft. It marks the airline’s first new route to Tuzla since closing its base in the city in September 2023. Further flight details can be found here. Vienna will complement Wizz Air's existing services from Basel, Dortmund and Memmingen to Tuzla.
Nice. Finally something new from TZL with Wizz.
ReplyDeleteWhat happened to the fog? That was a reason for leaving Tuzla. Is fog gone now all of a sudden?
ReplyDeleteLOL
Delete💩
DeleteTuzla is foggy every morning and evening (basicall every other day in autumn/winter)and its ILS is still crap. Thats why no airline would base an aircraft there. Flying 4 times a week during the day in summer is quite a different thing.
DeleteThey plan Vienna flights. Ryanair, Lauda fly from Banja Luka to Vienna already. That is going to be a competition. It's good they don't fly on the same days
Delete4 weekly on launch is definitely a good sign
ReplyDeleteGood timeslots as well
DeleteGreat news
ReplyDeleteGood news for TZL
ReplyDeleteWizz removed planes from Bosnia base "due to fog".
ReplyDeleteNow it still has no bases at any airport in Bosnia. All flights they operate are connected to other bases.
By 2026 it will definitely park aircraft to Tuzla/Banja Luka
I hope that will be Banja Luka, due to better weather
Deletei hope for Tuzla, they need it more than Banja Luka
DeleteGreat pick up for Tuzla. I wonder if Ryanair would be interested in launching Vienna from SJJ?
ReplyDeleteThey are but the negotiations were blocked by Austrian blackmailing the airport. Then the airport suggested Bratislava and Ryanair just told them they'll be considering it
