NEWS FLASH
The Armenian subsidiary of Moldovan carrier FlyOne will commence seasonal operations between Yerevan and Tivat this summer. Flights will start on May 2 and operate five times per week with the Airbus A320 aircraft until October 25. Tickets are now available for purchase through the airline’s website. Further flight details can be found here. The carrier had initially planned to introduce flights between the two cities in 2023, however, these did not materialise.
Nice addition and cool that you can buy tickets online
ReplyDelete5 times per week on an A320 just like that is impressive as well
DeleteBTW are Armenian airlines still banned to Europe?
ReplyDeleteWhen were they banned?
DeleteYes, for this reason flyones planes are registerred in moldova
DeleteIt seems that Montenegro managed to compensate some tourist arrivals from different ex USSR region, great addition!
ReplyDeleteA lot of Russians are using Yerevan (EVN) to fly to Europe and beyond.
DeleteThe same as Europe buys Russian oil and gas via intermediaries the same way Russian tourists use intermediary airlines to get to European holiday destinations.
DeleteBut statistically there are neither business nor tourism.
why are Armenian airlines, including FlyOne banned to fly to EU?
ReplyDeleteHow can FlyOne be banned to fly to EU if they have around 10 EU destinations from Yerevan, flying with literally armenian registered airplanes ???
DeleteFlyOne is not banned. They have Moldovan AOC.
DeleteAnd from their base in Yerevan they fly to EU and elsewhere.
These flights are probably because Air Montenegro are not flying charters to Yerevan like previous years.
ReplyDeleteOdlaze polako u istoriju.
DeleteVery nice
ReplyDeleteWow, launching the route with 5 pw A320, this is big. I can't recall the last time the similar happened in the region if we put aside big hub carriers. Good job Tivat.
ReplyDeleteAgree. I hope they expand further in the region.
DeleteBelgrade would be worth a try but frequency should be lower for the beginning.
Maybe twice a week and up to three times in high season.
They operated Tivat route last year with less frequency.
