Serbia gets new full motion A320 simulator

The Aviation Academy in Belgrade has taken delivery of the latest generation full motion level D simulator from Canadian manufacturer CAE for the training of future commercial pilots. According to the “TangoSix” portal, the simulator (pictured below) is currently being installed, after which it will undergo certification from Serbian and European regulators. The Academy has also received a new Flat Panel Trainer for the A320. Last April, Gabrijela Grujić, the Director of the Office for Dual Education and National Qualifications Framework of the Government of Serbia, said, “Pilots as well as cadets from Air Serbia will no longer have to go to France and other countries to undergo training. We know how difficult it is to find simulator slots and they will have priority when it arrives in Serbia next spring. The agreement was signed in March [2024], and the simulator will be delivered within a year”.
