ReplyDeleteIts good Hungarians are now flying via BEG.
ReplyDeleteIs there any info about the load factor of this route?
ReplyDeleteIt's about 60%. Since the route is on ATR and is very short that is a good result.
DeleteThat means that ATR42 would fit perfectly
DeleteHa ha… how yes no. For BUD to take ATR42. 😂
Delete60% is far from good, what are you talking about?
DeleteIt's ok when you take into consideration this is a yearly average which takes into accont the slow months as well. Also this route was launched with a high number of frequencies and it relies quite a bit on transfers.
DeleteAdd to that an economical plane operating a short flight and you get a very solid result. Interestingly enough, best performing flights are those in the noon wave of departures, the one that connects onto Western Europe.
But they reduced frequencies, right?
ReplyDeleteYes, at one point they had 17 weekly!
