NEWS FLASH
Hainan Airlines has scheduled the Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft on its Beijing - Belgrade service on a one-off basis for tomorrow, Tuesday, April 22. The 292-seat jet features 30 lie-flat seats in business class in a 1-2-1 configuration and the remaining 262 seats in economy in a 3-3-3 configuration. The airline usually deploys its Airbus A330-300 aircraft on the route (with either 281 or 292 seats), although it maintained Dreamliner operations between the two capitals from November 16 until December 17 last year. Hainan Airlines handled 49.345 passengers between the two cities in 2024.

ReplyDeleteDo we know what was the outcome of the talks with Xiamen airlines?
ReplyDeleteThe current bilateral air agreement limits the number of Chinese carriers able to maintain operations between the two countries and Xiamen Air is not one of the designated carriers on the Chinese side. Despite an existing memorandum between the two sides to lift air traffic restrictions, this has not fully liberalised air traffic between the two.
DeleteThat's a shame.
