NEWS FLASH
Swiss International Air Lines commenced seasonal operations between Zurich and Dubrovnik yesterday. The coastal city becomes the only in Croatia to be served by the airline. Its Airbus A220-300 aircraft was greeted by a water cannon salute at Rudjer Bošković Airport, with the service to be maintained up to five times per week over the summer schedule through to the end of October. Swiss takes over the route from its sister carrier Edelweiss Air. Its fellow Star Alliance member Croatia Airlines also maintains operations between the two cities over the summer. In 2024, a total of 20.675 passengers flew between Dubrovnik and Zurich.
