Sarajevo Airport welcomed 112.056 passengers through its doors in March, representing an increase of 35.1% on the same month last year. The number of aircraft movements increased 26.8% to 1.198. During the first quarter, Sarajevo Airport handled 333.802 travellers, representing an improvement of 41.8% on the same period in 2024, or an additional 98.310 passengers. The strong growth is set to continue into April with current scheduled capacity up 42% compared to last year.

This year there are likely to be over 2 million passengers. There is unofficial talk that Zwizzair wants to base one aircraft, negotiations are underway.
