NEWS FLASH
Turkish Airlines will deploy its Airbus A350-900 aircraft on two occasions on its Istanbul – Skopje service this July. The carrier will operate its morning rotation on the route (TK1003/04) on both July 19 and July 27 with the 329-seat aircraft. The wide-body jet features 32 lie-flat seats in business class in a 1-2-1 configuration, as well as a further 297 seats in economy class in a 3-3-3 configuration. It represents a significant increase in capacity on the 178-seat A321 aircraft which was originally scheduled to operate the two rotations. Equipment swaps at this early stage remain possible.

Lucky passengers flying on those days!
ReplyDeleteNot such a big deal, the flight takes a bit over an hour. So basically not important on what you fly.
Delete@13.40 you are fun at parties
Delete13:40 is it same for you flying on A321 and A350 ? You ok brother ? Even 1 and half hour flight with such a plane is amazing experience for anyone.
DeleteI am not surprised. SKP was always one of the best performers for TK in the region.
ReplyDeleteYou can't be serious? Turkish has just two flights to Skopje today. Belgrade has 3 (plus Air Serbia codeshares). Zagreb has 3 (and also with bigger aircraft).
DeleteZAG? ZAG was barely double daily until a month ago, there were times when it was even less than that. SKP is a much bigger market for them than ZAG.
DeleteAlso SKP is the ONLY market in ex YU where they send widebodies so often.
SKP LF with TK is amazing , they can handle 3 daily flights, it is possible we see that in future. SKP is important market for TK even more then ZAG thats a fact.
DeleteHow is it a fact when they have less flights to Skopje than to Zagreb?
DeleteCheck the LF statistic for SKP and ZAG and you will see the difference. Doesnt matter they have 1 more flight to ZAG when its empty , all the flights to SKP are basicly full...
Deleteyes, Turkish Airlines is flying 3 daily to Zagreb because they like flying empty planes. The things you read here.
Delete@12.50 Lat year there were a grand total of 0 wide body Turkish Airlines flights to Skopje. Where do you make these things up.
DeleteTurkish Airlines had a high average annual load factor 84.2% on its Zagreb service in 2024. Suggesting it is "empty" is rather inaccurate. Data for Istanbul - Skopje route for last year is still not available. Its average annual load factor on this route in 2023 was 76.4%.
DeleteAdmin the 2024 data for SKP is higher then 2023 , as of unofficial result 2024 LF is between 85 and 88% , but lets wait and see the official percentage. Will be very happy if you share when its resdy. No doubt that both markets are important for TK, Croatia is double bigger country then Macedonia. Plus SKP could had wide body airplanes if the Covid did not hit the world ,and we all know that.
DeleteAdmin ZAG gets doubly daily flights month ago , even last year there were less flights between IST-ZAG , where does that 84% LF come from I dont get it? SKP had more flights then ZAG until this year...
DeleteTurkish Airlines has been serving Zagreb eighteen times per week since last summer season, increasing to 24 weekly flights this summer.
DeleteHow many passengers TK served to SKP and how many to ZAG in 2024 ?
DeleteWhat a delulu guy, anon 17:50. Funny and a bit worrying...
DeleteWe all know SJJ wins this battle for best TK performance
DeleteIt will be the first time SKP will see A350.
ReplyDeleteHave been B747 , A340 ,A330 , but I do also think A350 would be first time.
DeleteThey send the A330 ocassionaly, this is not a surprise at all.
ReplyDeleteSKP is to Turkish what PRN is for Edelweiss from Zurich.
Of course. Edelweiss flies with A350 all summer to PRN while Turkish has 2 flights to Skopje the entire year with A350 because of large group booking on those two days
Delete13:16 if you didnt know TK in SKP has stronger LF then PRN ... from 2024 results. SKP can even handle 3 daily flights to IST without any problems..
DeleteYes SKP is booming, every airline want to fly there, too bad there are not enough slots
DeleteYes its booming , you are crying when seening articles like this we all know that , what cant destroy us make us more stronger ;)
DeleteSame delulu SKP fan boy trolling comment section
Deleteam pretty sure they can sustain more then 14 weekly in summer period
ReplyDeleteIn summer they can for sure , it is possible we see that too.
DeleteIt was just matter of time when this would happend. I am using TK alot and all the flights are always full.Especially summer period with USA,Canada and Australia diaspora. I was expecting A330-300 to be honest , but the A350 is a real surprise and great to see this bird in Macedonia. Wishing more days likt this :)))
ReplyDeleteIn time for EYOF
