ECA to launch new flights

Wednesday, March 18, 2015

The Croatian-based European Coastal Airlines (ECA), Europe’s first modern scheduled and commercial seaplane service, will launch new flights from Novalja, a town on the island of Pag, on Croatia’s central coast, this summer. The airline will operate flights from Novalja to Zagreb, Zadar, Split, Rijeka and Ancona in Italy. Since launching operations last August, ECA has proved popular with both tourists and locals, connecting Croatia’s mainland, islands and coastal regions. It maintains services throughout the winter months as well and has a fleet of two aircraft. Last month, Croatia’s Prime Minister, Zoran Milanović, and several government ministers were passengers on board a scheduled ECA flight from Split to Jelsa on the island of Hvar.
