Libya's Afriqiyah Airways introduced its new livery in December 2012, to mark the country's post-war restructuring. The new design features a white fuselage and black tailfin adorned with three blue stripes, representing the neck markings of the Turtle Dove. A migratory bird distributed across Europe, North Africa and Asia, the Turtle Dove is regarded as a universal symbol for love and devotion.
