Cambodia Angkor Air is the national carrier of Cambodia launched in 2009 and part-owned by Vietnam Airlines. Its aircraft feature the symbol of the Angkor Wat temple, the largest temple complex in the world, which is combined with a stylised bird wing on the tail in order to represent the strength and beauty of the temple, as well as the agility and speed of the bird. The purple colour scheme is used to symbolise security, while the golden yellow is Cambodia’s traditional symbol of prosperity.
