Cathay Pacific unveiled the third edition of its "Spirit of Hong Kong" livery in 2013. The public were invited to submit creative entries that illustrate the spirit of the city - along with full body photographs of themselves. The judging panel selected 100 winners with their silhouettes painted against a green backdrop on the fuselage of the aircraft. The “Spirit of Hong Kong” campaign run by the airline is in conjunction with the government’s “Hong Kong: Our Home” campaign that “aims to inject positive energy into society, foster social cohesion and promote care, mutual help and solidarity in the community”.
