Russian carrier Rossiya has unveiled a specialised paint scheme intended to draw attention to the conservation of rare wildlife, including big cats. The livery, which features a leopard's face on a B777 and a tiger's face on the B747 over the cockpit section, is reminiscent of a previous Amur tiger design on Transaero Boeing 747. The project was carried out in cooperation with the Amur Tiger Center, a research and conservation organisation. The livery took a total of twleve days to complete. The tiger's face was applied from a basic pre-designed sketch but predominately painted free hand on site. International Aerospace Coatings applied the design onto the aircraft.
