Royal Air Maroc has applied a special livery to mark its sixtieth anniversary. The design features Islamic geometric patterns, which are often included in Islamic art and built on combinations of repeated squares and circles. Red and green are used as they symbolise the colours of Morocco and Islam in general. The carrier was founded in 1957 after the merger Air Atlas and Air Maroc. Royal Air Maroc currently has more than 3.000 employees, as well as a fleet of 58 aircraft serving a total of eitghty cities worldwide across five continents.
