Russia's S7 Airlines has refreshed it livery. The new paint job retains the carrier’s signature green colour, but there will be no darker-green passenger silhouettes on the fuselage, and the logo font and background have also been tweaked. Overall, the new colour scheme is supposed to be less aggressive. The original S7 design was introduced twelve years ago, and was voted one of the worst liveries by "Flight International" in 2014. Both the current and former schemes were created by Landor Associates. The two shades of vibrant green were selected as fresh, modern, and distinctive. They stand out dramatically on the tarmac, particularly in the snow.
