Jakarta-based Sriwijaya Air draws upon tradition for its livery. The carrier's logo, featured on the tail of its aircraft, is a Ruyi - a curved decorative talisman in Buddhist culture symbolising power and good fortune. White, blue and red are predominately used with the white depicting the airline's purity, blue standing for a passion for travel across the Indonesian archipelago, and red symbolising courage and wisdom of the airline's personnel.
