Iceland's fast growing low cost airline WOW Air introduced a new livery in March 2015 to celebrate the introduction of flights to North America. The design features an all purple livery with large WOW Air titles on the fuselage, which includes a stylised aircraft encircled within the letter "O". The airline says its bold colour scheme symbolises fun, freedom and modernity. The carrier uses quirky aircraft registrations, such as TF-MOM, TF-DAD, TF-KID, in order to refer to its fleet as a family. The airline says WOW is MOM upside down, noting that everyone loves their mum
