Montenegro Airlines has passed the International Air Transport Association's (IATA) Operational Safety Audit (IOSA) checks, renewing its certificate for a further two years. IOSA is an internationally recognised and accepted evaluation system designed to assess the operational management and control systems of an airline. All IATA members are IOSA registered and must remain registered to maintain IATA membership. In a statement, Montenegro Airlines said, "The renewal of this certificate comes a result of the hard work and commitment put in on behalf of all of our employees. Furthermore, this is proof that Montenegro Airlines meets the highest standards and follows the latest trends in aviation".
The remaining three national carriers from the former Yugoslavia all hold valid IOSA certificates. Adria Airways is due to undergo checks this month in order to renew it, while Air Serbia is to do so prior to February 2017. Croatia Airlines' IOSA certificate is valid until early December next year.
Doubt thez will live up to receive the next IOSA check.
ReplyDeleteI'm not big fan of (new) Trade Air, but it should have been written here that they (TDR) have been IOSA operator as well, for some time now, with 3 or 4 two-years renewals passed
ReplyDeleteNow all YM has to do, is to pass the only test that matters in business - which is good mgt = good governance = profitable business
