Dubrovnik Airport has recorded both its most profitable and busiest year on record in 2015. "We still don't have the full financial data, but I can already say that this has been our most successful financial year, as we have recorded an 18% jump in profits, which now stands at some 6.5 million euros", Dubrovnik Airport's Managing Director, Roko Tolić, said yesterday. Over the past eleven months, Dubrovnik Airport saw its busiest year, handling 1.675.517 passengers, an increase of 6.8%, surpassing its 2014 end-of-year result and positioning itself as the third busiest in Croatia, following Zagreb and Split. A handful of airlines have already announced new services to the city in 2016, among which are Volotea, Air Berlin, Niki, easyJet and Transavia, while many carriers will boost frequencies on existing seasonal flights. Furthermore, the airport is set to sign agreements for new routes with at least four new carriers in the coming period.
Bravo Hrvatska!

ReplyDeleteSeriously time to lower some airport fees, DBV! Particularly in winter that way they could also get more business.
